31.05.2016 May 31, 2016 In the Republic of Belarus month of Robotics competitions was completed.

Coincidentally, last spring, three major robotics event the Republic of Belarus - JuniorSkills Belarus, IV Minsk Roboturnir open and the first Belarusian-Chinese Youth Robotics Tournament.

Our team participated in all activities and is glad such attention on the part of society to the problems that robotics puts in front of him. The competition covered all the currently available levels of both public and private educational centers of robotics.

It should be noted that in Belarus there are no certified and approved by the robot constructor, teaching methods and textbooks. Therefore absolutely all participants, providing services for the preparation of robotics borrow their achievements from colleagues abroad. Usually robotics classes are an alternative for parents as a supplement education (faculties) and absolutely voluntary.

JuniorSkills Belarus 2016 - republican competition, which is held in order to improve the system of vocational orientation among students of general secondary education institutions, creating opportunities for the development of professional competencies of the students the basics.

In this competition, we acted as the main experts on the competencies 'Mobile Robotics' (Grigory Prokopovich, leading researcher) and 'Industrial Robotics' (Gerasyuta Sergey, Head of Sector), judges and sponsors competitive jobs.

IV Minsk open Robo Tournament - a non-profit amateur robotics contest of young.

For this competition under the category 'Roborace' we have provided a caterpillar robot RTsiTT students and provided technical and advisory support.

The first Belarusian-Chinese robotics tournament - the first contest of Robotics between Belarusian and Chinese students. The event was held within the framework of bilateral cooperation in the field of scientific and technological innovation.

In this competition we have passed their baptism of fire software solutions BSUIR students, and we have provided prototypes of robots developed by our training robot constructor "RoboCake Student", technical and advisory support. Vladislav Sychev (researcher) has prepared a chassis layout, firmware and low-level software template robot control with support for Arduino environment.
